Every year, we thoroughly clean your solar panels using a soft telescopic brush and osmosis water. No chemical products are used in the process, which is safe for your panels and the environment. This allows us to remove the pollution that silently slows down your yield, without the risk of scratches or damage to the coating.
Standard cleaning is included for installations on a flat roof or installations that we can reach from the ground, up to a height of fifteen metres. If your installation is more difficult to access, we charge an additional fee of 75 euros for the use of an aerial work platform.
Your installation is monitored day and night via the Solar Assistance monitoring platform. We track three things: your actual yield, your theoretically expected yield, and your consumption. By comparing these three, we can see not only if your installation is running, but also if it is producing what it should be producing. You do not have to monitor or check anything yourself; we keep a constant eye on your installation.
Not included in the basic price of the Solar COMFY solar plan are any costs to link your installation to our monitoring platform.
Our platform automatically triggers an alarm in two situations. The first is when no registration is received on a daily basis, which usually indicates an outage or a communication problem. The second is when your monthly yield is twenty percent or more lower than the theoretically expected yield, calculated based on the actual solar radiation during that period. This way, we also catch creeping problems that you might not notice yourself, such as a defective panel or an inverter that is underperforming.
As soon as an alarm is generated, you will be notified via the monitoring platform and by email. You therefore always stay informed about what is happening with your installation, even when we are already following up on the problem.
With a Solar COMFY solar plan, unlike a Solar EYE, you do not have to report a problem yourself. When our control room detects a malfunction, we contact you and initiate the follow-up immediately. So you don’t have to do anything, even if you haven’t seen the alarm yourself.
We stand behind our monitoring. If no alarm is generated within 48 hours of an outage, you are entitled to compensation. This compensation covers the actual loss of yield over the entire period that the malfunction went unnoticed.
Does a component such as your inverter break down while still under manufacturer’s warranty? We will then take care of the full follow-up and replacement, without any extra worries for you. We coordinate everything with the manufacturer and ensure that defective parts are replaced correctly and quickly. For the intervention, we charge a fixed cost of € 90.75 excl. VAT.
If the problem falls outside the warranty, you can count on a transparent approach with discounts on repairs and interventions. This keeps costs under control and avoids unnecessary loss of yield.
