Birds like to nest under solar panels, where they are sheltered from the wind and rain. Unfortunately, this can lead to damaged wiring, contamination, and reduced output from your system. By installing bird deterrents, you can prevent these problems and extend the lifespan of your solar panels.
Our bird deterrent system is made of durable, weather-resistant materials that are carefully installed around your solar panels. This is done without damaging your roof or panels. This keeps birds at a distance while maintaining ventilation under the panels.
Bird droppings on solar panels form a stubborn layer that blocks sunlight, resulting in lower energy output. Even small spots can lead to a loss of efficiency, because a dirty solar panel converts sunlight into electricity less efficiently.
A clean and well-maintained system works better and lasts longer. Preventing birds from nesting under the panels reduces wear and corrosion of critical components.
…do birds often build nests under solar panels? This can damage cables, cause dust buildup, and even increase the risk of fire. Bird deterrents protect your system and keep your roof clean.
