Milestone: 2 millionth for Jurgen and Emanuel

Solar Assistance cleans an average of 150,000 solar panels annually. Based on those volumes, the total today stands at 2 million cleaned panels. “A milestone,” say Jürgen Donné and Emanuel Lai, directors of Lummen-based Solar Assistance. “People know that dirt can reduce the yield of their installation and therefore invest in periodic maintenance.”

“Installing solar panels is one thing. Ensuring they continue to perform optimally year after year is at least as important,” say Donné and Lai. “Owners primarily want the certainty that their installation is working correctly and that problems are resolved quickly.”

Solar Assistance has therefore expanded its services over the years. “Indeed, we don’t just focus on cleaning solar panels, but also provide monitoring and technical interventions. Through permanent follow-up, malfunctions or production losses are quickly detected and addressed.”

More than 14 years after its founding, the company has also moved into battery systems and smart energy management. “Energy prices fluctuate so much that customers prefer to use their own electricity,” add Jürgen Donné and Emanuel Lai. “A comprehensive installation with storage and smart control provides more control over energy costs.”

And so Solar Assistance now has a range of service packages that allows it to handle the next 2 million panels with care.
