Your energy consumption grows along with your business, but what if your installation does not keep up?
Vanderstraeten had already invested in solar panels and had their energy management well organised. However, as the company continued to grow, one thing became clear: the existing installation could no longer keep up with the increasing demand. What was once a strong investment was gradually reaching its limits.
As their activities expanded, the energy consumption of Vanderstraeten NV increased significantly. The existing solar installation was no longer sufficient to meet this demand, which meant the company had to rely more on electricity from the grid.
This resulted in higher costs and less control over their energy consumption. At the same time, part of the available roof space remained unused, while the need for additional capacity continued to grow.
An additional 144 solar panels were installed, providing an extra capacity of 64.08 kWp, supported by a powerful inverter.
Thanks to this expansion, the company now generates a much larger share of its own energy and is less dependent on the electricity grid. Through integration with monitoring, Vanderstraeten also has continuous insight into the performance of the entire installation and full control over their energy management.
