Dirt, dust and weather conditions have a direct impact on performance. The longer this remains, the more yield you lose without immediately noticing it. Especially for large installations, regular cleaning is not a detail, but an essential part of the whole.
At Traflux, the task involved cleaning a large installation of 1,488 panels, spread across different surfaces. Part of the system was located on a flat roof, while another part was installed on a steep slope.
That last part made maintenance more complex. Manual cleaning was difficult and not without risk. Without the right approach, part of the installation remained difficult to access, putting performance under pressure.
Solar Assistance developed a solution that was both efficient and safe. For the hard-to-reach areas, a specialised cleaning robot was used, capable of operating effectively on inclined surfaces.
This made it possible to clean the entire installation thoroughly, without risks and without limitations in reach.
