Some inverters produce a faint humming sound, especially during peak hours. This is normal and is caused by:
- Cooling fans – To prevent overheating.
- Electronic components – Which can cause high-frequency vibrations.
However, loud or irregular noises may indicate a problem:
- Constant loud noise → Possible overheating or wear and tear of components.
- Clicking sounds → Relays switching on and off, which often occurs in the event of a defect.
- Sudden increase in noise → Possible malfunction or defective fan.
In these cases, it is wise to have an installer perform a check or repair.
