If an inverter breaks down, your solar installation will no longer work correctly. Your panels will continue to generate power, but without a functioning inverter, this power will not be converted to usable alternating current. This means:

• No power output for own use or feed-in.
• Possible error codes or red LED lights on the inverter.

If your inverter is faulty, check if it is still under warranty and get it replaced as soon as possible to reduce energy loss.
