Inverter malfunction? We limit the downtime of your commercial installation
An inverter failure shuts down part or even all of your installation. Every day of downtime costs your company production and money. We trace the cause and repair quickly and professionally, for every brand and every power capacity.
- Since 2012
- All brands and capacities
- Even if your installer has ceased operations
the higher the loss of yield becomes.
A 100 kWp installation in Belgium produces an average of about 250 kWh per day. If the inverter is down, you have to purchase that electricity from the grid at a high cost. This can easily cost you €50 per day, or around €1,500 per month.*
Without proper monitoring, a fault often goes unnoticed for weeks. The larger your installation, the faster the losses mount.
*Calculation example based on ± 900 kWh per kWp per year and an electricity price of ± €0.20 per kWh (excl. VAT). The actual loss depends on your installation, the season, and your energy contract.
Valt een omvormer uit, dan valt de productie van dat deel van je installatie volledig stil. Ook al zien je panelen er perfect uit.
Do you recognize these signals?
If you see any of these signs, your installation is likely producing less than it should.
Alarm in your monitoring portal
A notification or error code from the inverter indicates a fault that requires attention.
Total failure
No display, no lights. The inverter has no power supply or is defective.
Constantly switching off and on again
Often a problem with the grid voltage, overheating, or a damaged cable.
Yield lower than expected
A string or part of the roof is no longer producing, while the rest continues to run.
No more data incoming
Communication has dropped. The installation may still be working, but you no longer have visibility of the production.
Protection trips
A residual current device (RCD) or circuit breaker that trips regularly indicates an underlying problem.
Check the distribution board Check if the solar installation's protection has not tripped.
Check your monitoring portal
Note which inverter is in fault mode and which error code it is displaying.
Check the distribution board
Check whether the solar installation's circuit breaker has tripped.
Take photos
A photo of the display and the error code helps us diagnose faster.
Leave repairs to specialists
There is high DC voltage on the panel side, even in cloudy weather. Do not let your own technical department open the inverter; instead, call in a certified technician.
This is how we resolve your inverter failure
01 Reporting and analysis
We review the error code and history. If possible, we perform a remote diagnosis.
02 Proposal
You receive a clear proposal for the intervention. No hidden costs.
03 On-site repair
Our technician repairs or replaces the inverter and also checks strings, cabling, and protection.
04 Report and warranty
You receive a clear intervention report. If the device is under warranty, we follow up on the file with the manufacturer.

Questions about inverter faults
Frequently Asked Questions
My inverter is failing, what should I do?
First check if the fuse or circuit breaker in the distribution board has not tripped and contact us. Always leave work on the installation to a certified technician.
Does the rest of the installation still work if one inverter fails?
In installations with multiple inverters, the others usually keep working. The part behind the defective inverter no longer produces anything, and this loss is often only noticed later.
Our installer is bankrupt or has ceased operations. What now?
Bankruptcy does not void the manufacturer’s warranty. We take over the technical follow-up and warranty files with the manufacturer.
Do you also repair installations that you did not install yourselves?
Yes. We work on installations of every brand and every installer, from an SME roof to a large logistics center.
How quickly can you visit?
For Solar Assistance customers, we provide an intervention within 48 hours of the report.
How do we prevent a fault from going unnoticed for a long time?
With monitoring and preventive maintenance. This allows us to spot deviations quickly and address problems before they lead to a standstill.
